Oh yeah. We’re still having fun.

Two years ago Master Power Transmission was born. Headquartered in Greenville, S.C., we’ve found a business-friendly community that mixes well with our company culture.

While our manufacturing remains in Columbus, Ind., our sales, engineering and marketing are located in downtown Greenville. Over the past 30 years the city has undergone strategic public-private partnership to make it a wonderful place to live, work and play.

In the coming months, the first phase of a $100 million, 375,000-square-foot mixed-use development will open at the heart of the central business district. The new One development will include national clothing retailer Anthropologie and the headquarters for Certus Bank.

Just recently a Charleston, S.C., based developer announced plans for 375 apartments, 16,000 square feet of retail and restaurant space, and a parking garage on property adjacent to the Next Innovation Center – a hub for entrepreneurs and technology companies.

Falls Park on the Reedy, located in downtown Greenville, is one of the city’s greatest treasurers.

Meanwhile, the city has a great social scene. Downtown Greenville hosts more than 300 event days annually, including three large main street festivals. The Greenville Drive, the Single A affiliate of the Boston Red Sox, narrowly missed its all-time Fluor Field record in total attendance due to wet summer weather this season.

And Better Homes & Garden Real Estate ranked Greenville No. 5 as one of “America’s Most Fun, Affordable Cities.”

Oh, yes. We’re having fun.

A progressive, friendly city, Greenville has attracted universities, such as Clemson University, to become major agents for economic growth. As Master PT continues to expand its headquarters, we look forward to playing a part in the growing vibrancy of downtown Greenville.
